We have all seen these amazing breakfast and midday treats on our Instagram feeds. They look (and are) fresh, healthy, and delicious. But how do you even begin to make this elaborate looking food?! We are here to debunk this colorful bowl and let you know how easy it is to make and eat.
The Main
- 1 pack acai puree (or 2 tsp of acai powder with 3-4 crushed ice cubes)
- 1 handful frozen berries
- 1 banana, frozen
- 4 tbsp rolled oats
- 2/3 cups soy milk
- 1 tsp honey (to your preference)
The Garnish
- fresh berries
- banana slices
- kiwi slices
- mango
- coconut flakes
- granola
- chopped nuts or almonds
The Construction
With a frozen pack of acai puree make sure follow the instructions that come with it. If you use powder and ice make sure you are gentle on your blender.
Peel and put the banana into the freezer for a couple hours before adding them in. It will make your blend smoother.
Add all the ingredients into the mix and blend until smooth.
Garnish with your favorite ingredients.
